You Never Know was first conceived at the Burren College of Art in Ireland in 2013 and first publicly exhibited at Kunstenfestival Watou in Watou, Belgium in 2015.

 

The installation was the third of its kind in A Language Older Than You, a series of interrelated sculptural installations spanning 2013 to 2015.
