I'm Not Worried About You
I'm Not Worried About You was first publicly exhibited at Kunstenfestival Watou in Watou, Belgium in 2015.
The installation was the first of its kind in A Language Older Than You, a series of interrelated sculptural installations spanning 2013 to 2015.
An eight-foot section of tree stands at the center of the space, stripped of its branches and chopped at its base. The tree leans precariously from its breaking point, held in balance by threads tethered to nails in the adjacent wall which have been hammered to spell out the English turn-of-phrase "I'm not worried about you".
